Hot on the heels of E3 and the world reveal of Destiny: The Taken King, today, we’re teaming up with Bungie and Red Bull to bring Destiny to new custom-designed Red Bull Energy Drink cans. The partnership marks the first time that a video game or any third-party brand has graced a Red Bull can. The design features original illustrations of iconic imagery from the game, including the Traveler, a Ghost, and a Guardian. It also features the first-ever appearance of an eSports athlete on a Red Bull can with Destiny fan Michael “Flamesword” Chaves of OpTic Gaming.
But the can is just the beginning. Destiny Edition Red Bull cans will allow fans to access an epic new quest in Destiny: The Taken King following its release on September 15. What’s more, players can get an in-game bonus XP consumable that can be used throughout the summer.
