Kyle “Gaz” Garrick Reinforces the Coalition

Task Force 141 received the call for backup, and they sent Gaz to rejoin the conflict in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare®.

From ensuring the safety of London’s citizens to joining Captain John Price in the fight against Al-Qatala, Kyle Garrick’s career has been commendable, and it is far from over.

Kyle “Gaz” Garrick is now an Operator available for Warzone, Multiplayer, and Co-Op as a member of the Special Air Service (SAS) alongside fellow Task Force 141 members Ghost and Price as well as Thorne, Charly, and Otter within the Coalition.

Read on for more details on Gaz, along with intel on the Store bundle available in Modern Warfare, including Warzone, that includes this Operator, two Legendary weapon blueprints, and more.

Origins of an Operator

!Warning: Campaign Spoilers Ahead!

After nearly a half-decade serving within the British Army, Gaz–as he would eventually be known by–passed selection for Her Majesty’s Special Air Service (SAS) and became an integral part of the domestic counter-terrorism unit.

During the Modern Warfare Campaign, Sergeant Kyle Garrick sprang into action after Al-Qatala’s actions at Piccadilly Circus, tracked down a group of domestic terrorists, and ultimately aided Captain John Price in the international effort to capture or neutralize “The Butcher,” “The Wolf,” and General Roman Barkov.

Following these events, Captain Price recruited Gaz to Task Force 141. Through his tours of duty in the British Army, his service in the SAS, and as part of Task Force 141, Gaz gained expertise in prime target elimination, demolitions, weapons tactics, covert surveillance, and VIP protection.

Gaz Operator Challenge

The Gaz Operator Bundle, available now in the Store in Modern Warfare, including Warzone, contains a total of 10 items for instant unlock. Two additional skins and two Double XP tokens are awarded through an Operator Challenge set exclusive to those who own any version of Gaz (for now, this is only through the Gaz Operator Bundle).

Here are all four objectives—all of which require Gaz to be your Coalition Operator—and rewards for completing them.

Objective 1/4: In Warzone, Win your Gulag fight 3 times

Reward: 1,500 XP, Double XP Token (30 minutes)

Objective 2/4: In Warzone, Get 5 kills using a Legendary Weapon

Reward: 2,000 XP, Broadsword Operator Skin (Gaz)

Objective 3/4: Call in 15 Killstreaks

Reward: 2,500 XP, Double XP Token (30 minutes)

Objective 4/4: In Warzone, Successfully complete 7 Contracts

Reward: 3,000 XP, Claymore Operator Skin (Gaz)

Blueprints for Battle

Along with the Operator Challenge to unlock additional content, the Gaz Operator bundle also includes three weapons: two Legendary blueprints and an Epic blueprint melee weapon.

The Fair Brass blueprint kits the widely used Assault Rifle Charlie for Operators who want to acquire targets quickly and with a clean sight picture.

The FORGE TAC CQS, Tac Laser, and FSS 11.5” Commando Barrel all aid in reducing the time it takes to Aim Down Sights (ADS), with the Tac Laser also providing a bit of Recoil Control as well. When aiming down sights with this weapon, an Operator will get a clearer sight picture thanks to the Aim-Op Reflex Sight, and only at the cost of a small decrease to ADS speed.

Along with being a great aggressive assault rifle for Warzone or Multiplayer, the fifth attachment–Lightweight Suppressor–adds a stealth element to this weapon, suppressing its sound and masking its muzzle flash whenever it is fired.

The other Legendary blueprint, the Tanker, is a phenomenal backup to the Fair Brass or any Primary Weapon. A configuration of Handgun Delta, the Tanker kits the weapon for more controlled fire down range.

Use the benefit of the XRK V Extended Barrel to engage targets more effectively at range, the Tac Laser to ADS quicker, the Cronen LP945 Mini Reflex for clearer target acquisition, and the Heavy Duty Trigger for more controlled fire. Top it off with 32 Round Mags to maximize the weapon’s carrying capacity per magazine, and you have the Tanker, built for precision and accuracy at range against a group of hostile forces.

As for the Hit Sticks, they are a blueprint version of the new Kali Sticks, a one-hit knockout secondary melee weapon that is functionally similar to the Combat Knife. Stay tuned for more intel on this new weapon, but for now, know that it is most effective when engaging targets within arms' reach.

Get these three blueprints, the “Willpower” watch, an Epic new Finishing Move, and more with the Gaz Operator Bundle available in the Store for Modern Warfare including Warzone.

We’ll see you online. Stay frosty.
