Introducing Morte: Deliver Justice with the Mediterranean Mercenary

He plays by his own rules of right and wrong as an associate of Warcom’s finest. Available now in a featured bundle that includes two legendary blueprint weapons, this is Morte.

An unlikely ally joins Warcom’s ranks as their latest mercenary, answering the call for justice in Verdansk and the world with his own blueprint weapons in tow.

Available now in Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® and Warzone™, Morte joins the fight by way of a Store bundle.

Here’s what you need to know about Morte, his featured Operator bundle, and tips for laying down the law in Multiplayer, Special Ops, or Warzone with the bundle’s included blueprints:

The Modern Embodiment of Western All'Italiana

Full Name: Sergio Sulla

First Language: Italian

Citizenship: Italy

Faction: Coalition

Group: Warcom

As a young boy, Sergio grew up in Il Repubblica Italiana watching films that his fellow countrymen produced and directed: spaghetti westerns.

Inspired by these fictional heroes, the man who would call himself the Italian word for “death” – Morte – made it his destiny to become a lawbringer of justice. That involved a personal search for his interpretation of right and wrong, as this mercenary wanted his own moral code to properly correct injustice, no matter the mission.

His incredible gunslinging skills, akin to the rangers he idolized, and true grit earned him service with the legendary “il nono” – the 9th Paratroopers Assault Regiment Col Moschin, or “Col Moschin,” the short name for this special forces unit recognized around the world.

After spending two years training to be in the regiment and participating in multiple operations, Warcom offered Morte a place among the multi-national Coalition force.

He accepted the offer, but only on two conditions: he brings along his faithful sidekick Tuco, a red-tailed hawk, and he provides his own uniform.

Armed with Two Bringers of Justice

The ten-item Morte Operator bundle is big enough for two Legendary blueprints, complete with “Morte” alternate red, white, and green Tracer Fire. It also includes Morte’s “Sentenza” skin, his hawk-related Finishing Move “Tuco,” the “Chisholm” Combat Knife blueprint, and more.

Quick on the draw and accurate with your shots? The Saguaro, named after the symbolic cactus for the Old West, can be a real prick to your enemies, if held in the hands of a real gunslinger.

The Saguaro blueprint configuration includes the longest barrel attachment for this weapon family, as well as two aim down sight (ADS) time reducing attachments: Stippled Grip Tape and FSS MK2 Sport Comb. Sleight of Hand (weapon perk) is included to speed up reload times, while the Aim-Op Reflex Sight provides a clearer sight picture with near-negligent effects to ADS speed.

With these five attachments combined on this lever-action, high caliber marksman rifle, an Operator can be quick on the draw, snap to their target, then acquire the next one with great speed… Which are all the very skills that brought Morte to Warcom.

As for the bundle’s fast-firing assault rifle blueprint – Tombstone – it includes the precision optic, the Aim-Op Reflex Sight, also found on the Saguaro. Although the rest of its attachments are unique compared to its bundle mate, the Tombstone is still in-theme with being a gunslinger’s “old reliable” weapon.

Other than the clear sight picture provided by the Reflex Sight, this configuration includes an FSS 14.5” Tac Light Barrel and FORGE TAC CQS Stock, which both reduce aim down sight speed. Rounding out this five-attachment Legendary blueprint are two attachments that increase accuracy when firing from the hip: the Merc Foregrip and 1mW Laser.

In summary, this assault rifle is kitted for more accurate hip-fire, which can be used to begin a close to medium range engagement as an Operator goes into ADS, laying down more accurate fire in order to put their enemy six feet under.

Head to the in-game Store now to purchase the “Morte Operator Bundle,” and prepare to dole out hard justice with the Saguaro and Tombstone Legendary blueprints while adding Morte’s “Sentenza” skin to your Coalition Operator collection.
