The Destiny journey began for players last year, and since that time, they’ve traveled to the ends of our universe, defeated Crota, taken on Valus Ta'aurc, fought intense battles in the Crucible, and so much more. Now, with the September launch of Destiny: The Taken King on the horizon, Bungie and Activision have released a new trailer that takes a look back at the first year of Destiny and offers a brief glimpse of what’s to come.
What’s more, today at Gamescom it was revealed that every edition of Destiny: The Taken King will include one character boost, which allows players to instantly level up any existing or newly created guardian to the minimum level required to play The Taken King.
Destiny: The Taken King arrives on September 15 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. At launch, players on PlayStation platforms will gain access to additional content, including a Strike, a Crucible map, three sets of gear, and an exotic weapon—exclusive until at least fall 2016.
