After months of intense competition, this weekend 32 of the most skilled Call of Duty teams in the world will fight for the coveted title of world champions. Starting today and through Sunday, the third annual Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox will feature three days of competitive matches, live gameplay of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Ascendance DLC in a celebrity grudge match for the Call of Duty Endowment, and more. Learn more about what’s in store and how to watch live online in our detailed primer.

How to Watch Live Online

Fans can tune-in to the competition all weekend by streaming broadcasts through Xbox Live, CallofDuty.com, and MLG.tv, as well as select editorial partners around the world. The broadcast kicks off today at 9:00am PDT and continues into the evening with final matches set to begin at around 6:00pm PDT. On Saturday, matches are expected to begin again at 9:00am PDT, while on Sunday matches are slated to begin at 11:00am PDT. The tournament is organized as round-robin style pool play among eight groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to a 16-team double elimination bracket where the top two teams will be determined for Sunday’s championship match.

Viewers can catch all of the action across four different streams throughout the weekend. For more on the competition schedule, check out CallofDuty.com/eSports.

The Final Match

On Sunday, the tournament will culminate in a final matchup between the top two teams, where they’ll compete for $400,000—a lion’s share of the total $1 million prize pool. The livestream for the final championship match will be broadcast through the Xbox Live Dashboard (in participating regions) beginning on Sunday, March 29, at 2:00pm PDT.

The Celebrity Pro Am Exhibition for Call of Duty Endowment

Before the two top teams face off in the final match on Sunday, professional football players Golden Tate and Demaryius Thomas will each lead teams of an eSports player, an internet personality, and a fan from the audience in an exhibition grudge match for the Call of Duty Endowment. The teams will go head-to-head in new maps from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s upcoming Ascendance DLC pack with the winning team securing a $100,000 in their name to the Endowment and its work helping veterans returning to the workforce.
