Call of Duty XP, set to be the biggest gathering of the global Call of Duty community, is coming to Southern California this year with a massive-scale fan experience, taking place at the Los Angeles Forum from September 2-4. The community-focused franchise celebration will serve as host to the best Call of Duty eSports players in the world, as they compete at the Call of Duty World League Championship, Presented by PlayStation®4. The highly-anticipated event will also be the world premiere of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered* multiplayer.
The competitive festivities will center on the culmination of the inaugural season of the Call of Duty World League, where 32 of the top teams from across the globe will compete for more than $2 million in prizing, as part of the CWL’s 2016 prize pool, which tops $3.5 million. Call of Duty XP attendees will get to witness all the fast-paced action and see first-hand which team will take home the Call of Duty World League Championship trophy and crowned as world champions.
Fans that attend Call of Duty XP will also be the first to go hands-on with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer, as well as Infinity Ward’s all-new cooperative zombies mode. Additionally, attendees will be amongst the first to get their hands on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer, as well as new downloadable content from the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Throughout the weekend’s festivities, fans will have the opportunity to win various prizes by competing in head-to-head battles in 6 vs. 6 competitive matches. More than 500 gameplay stations will be set up on-site for players to enjoy.
Aside from all the multiplayer action, fans can also immerse themselves in all things Call of Duty via various live-action activities. Players will be able to challenge each other in a paintball battle on a life-sized Call of Duty Nuketown multiplayer map, or team up with other fans to fight off Zombies in a laser tag experience themed with the new zombies experience. Additionally, all ticket levels will include bonus digital content for both Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which include a calling card and weapon camo for each game.
