For those that secured Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta code by pre-ordering the game for PlayStation 4, the action starts today. Ahead of the game’s November 6 launch, fans on PS4 can now get a first-hand look at the game's exciting new multiplayer, which introduces a new chained, momentum-based movement system, Specialists, and more.

Players who redeemed a beta code began receiving beta tokens to download the multiplayer beta on a rolling basis today. If you pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 through the PlayStation Store, you can start downloading the beta immediately via your PS4’s library. The beta will run on PS4 through Sunday, August 23.

Last week, Treyarch confirmed that the multiplayer beta would include three maps: Hunted, Combine, and Evac; each covering a multitude of game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, and more. Plus, the beta will be your first chance to check out the new Specialists and their impressive sets of skills.
