PlatinumGames and Activision offered a first glimpse of TRANSFORMERS: Devastation at E3, but with San Diego Comic-Con underway, fans are finally getting a taste of Devastation's gameplay. At the TRANSFORMERS Panel, Activision unveiled a brand new trailer that highlights the combo-based mechanics that PlatinumGames is famous for. Check it out:

If you've ever played a PlatinumGames title, you probably know what to expect from TRANSFORMERS: Devastation. The combat mechanics are dressed up like a button-mashing brawler, but as you spend time with the game, you'll uncover more complex combos and swap between vehicle-based and hand-to-hand combat. What's more, each character has its own unique set of intricate maneuvers. The trailer offers a quick look at some of the tricks that Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Wheeljack have up their sleeves, plus a little action from Megatron and Starscream. And Devastator—did you see Devastator?
