Velocity 2X Coming to Xbox One and PC This Summer

Sierra and FuturLab team up to bring the acclaimed platformer to Xbox One and PC.

Part top-down vertical shooter, part side-scrolling platformer, Velocity 2X weaves together the two styles for a challenging, fast-paced experience presented in a beautiful, highly stylized art style. After launching to rave reviews on PlayStation platforms last year, FuturLab and Sierra are teaming up to bring Velocity 2X to the Xbox One and PC later this summer. As Lt. Kai Tana, players will pilot the Quarp Jet—a teleporting spacecraft—navigating tight corridors to rescue stranded space travelers or fighting aliens on foot using her teledash ability to dispatch enemies with speed. The Xbox One and PC versions will feature exclusive daily challenge stages with over 50 stages in total, including those found in the Critical Urgency and Dual Core DLC packs originally released for PlayStation platforms.

Velocity 2X will be available through the Xbox Games Store and Windows PC this summer. In the meantime, check out the official website for more on Velocity 2X and follow FuturLab on Facebook and Twitter.
