Skylands is bustling this week with the announcement of new Valentine’s Day and springtime edition characters, a brand-new Crayola® Color Alive Skylanders® Trap Team Starter Pack, and the arrival of Skylanders Skystones in your favorite General Mills Big G cereal boxes.
Later this week, General Mills will bring Skylanders to select Big G cereal boxes, allowing fans to collect four unique sets of cards that can be used to play the Skystones minigame in Skylanders Trap Team. Each set contains 10 cards, including two boss villain cards that unlock exclusive content in the Skylanders Collection Vault app. Starting Saturday, February 14, fans can find the Skylanders Skystones decks across a variety of General Mills Cereals, including Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, Trix, Lucky Charms, and more.
Next up, we’ve got the new Crayola Color Alive Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack, which features limited edition packaging that Portal Masters can personalize using an included set of Crayola’s Crayons. Using Crayola’s Color Alive app on their smartphone or tablet, fans can see their coloring come to life using augmented reality. The Crayola Color Alive Skylanders Trap Team Starter Pack hits store shelves in March, exclusively at Toys”R”Us.
Finally, in preparation for Valentine’s Day, we’re excited to debut a special holiday-inspired Love Potion Pop Fizz variant, which features a limited edition design, both in-game and on the toy. What’s more, as we look to the springtime seasons, we’ll also be launching new Skylanders Minis variants Power Punch Pet-Vac and Eggsellent Weeruptor, as well as an Easter Bunny-themed Earth Trap.
