Since its inception, Skylanders has been capturing the imagination of millions of fans around the world with its beloved cast of characters and genre defining toys-to-life gameplay. This year, Skylanders arrives for new audiences and longtime fans alike with the animated comedy-adventure series Skylanders Academy, which will be launching on Netflix as part of a two-season, 26-episode partnership with Activision Blizzard Studios.

Skylanders Academy focuses on the heroic adventures of the Skylanders and features fan-favorite characters from the series voiced by an all-star cast, including:

  • Justin Long as Spyro

  • Ashley Tisdale as Stealth Elf

  • Jonathan Banks as Eruptor

  • Norm MacDonald as Glumshanks

What’s more, the series also includes performances from The Diamond Minecart, Susan Sarandon, Catherine O’Hara, Bobcat Goldthwait, Chris Diamantopoulos, Jonny Rees, Harland Williams, and Richard Horvitz.

The first series from Activision Blizzard Studios, Skylanders Academy is being produced under supervision of showrunner Eric Rogers (“Futurama”), executive produced by Emmy award-winning producer Sander Schwartz (“The Batman,” “The Aquabats! Super Show!” and “Justice League: The New Frontier”), and animated by acclaimed studio TeamTO. Co-Presidents Stacey Sher and Nick van Dyk lead Activision Blizzard Studios, which was founded last year to bring Activision Blizzard properties to film and television.
