From a vegetable warrior with a tomato gun to a Traptanium throwing star-wielding lobster, Skylanders is home to some of the most distinctive characters in gaming. Among Skylands’ hundreds of heroes, there are a few worthy of special recognition and worthy of the title of Eon’s Elite. Today, Activision is introducing the first two characters in the new collectible line of figures, Eon’s Elite, which feature unique designs, premium packaging, and special in-game attributes.

And who better to kick off the Eon’s Elite than two of the series’ seminal characters Spyro and Chop Chop. Each have been given an exclusive new finish, complete with metallic accents and a golden base, as well as premium foil packaging with a cool 3D lenticular background. But Eon’s Elite distinguish themselves from traditional characters in-game as well. In addition to their unique look, Eon’s Elite are three times as powerful as other characters — the most significant leap in character powers to-date.

Both the Elite Spyro and Elite Chop Chop will arrive at retailers on November 1. Those that pick up an Elite Spyro or Elite Chop Chop on November 1 will also have an exclusive opportunity to pre-order the third Eon’s Elite character — Elite Trigger Happy, which goes on sale on November 23. However, prospective Eon’s Elite owners should act quickly, as supplies are limited and Elite Trigger Happy pre-orders will be available for one day only.
