If you’re in need of weekend plans, look no further—Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer for PC is free to try this weekend via Steam. From now until Sunday, February 22, at 1pm PST, PC players can sample all 13 base multiplayer maps, hone their skills across a variety of game modes, and become masters of the boost jump. Most importantly, Double XP has been enabled for the weekend across all platforms and all of your hard work, including custom classes, rank, and gear progressions, will carry over should you decide to pick up the full game. To access the trial, all you have to do is download the game, which has been automatically added to your Steam library.
If you do want to upgrade to the full game, the standard and Digital Pro Edition are available at a discount on Steam until February 23. Then, just a few short days later on February 26, Advanced Warfare’s Havoc DLC will launch on PC, introducing Exo Zombies, four new maps, and the new AE4 directed energy assault rifle.
For all the latest on Advanced Warfare and more, stay tuned to the Activision Games Blog and follow Call of Duty on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
