Before this weekend’s big event, get caught up on the results from the regional qualifiers.

We’re counting down the days until the Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox, which begins on March 27 and will see the top 32 teams from all over the globe compete for a $1 million prize pool and the coveted title of world champions. For those in the crowd and watching live at home, it’s certain to be three days of fierce competition, but for the teams, it’s the culmination of months of hard work and determination. To earn their spot at the Call of Duty Championship, the teams had to face off at regional qualifiers in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Australia. North American Regionals Recap

As the final qualifying round in the Call of Duty Championship, the North American regionals cemented the last 14 teams headed to Los Angeles. In the end, OpTic Gaming placed first, while Denial eSports took second and FaZe Red in third. Joining the top three in Los Angeles will be 3sUP Enterprises, Automatic Reload, Below Zero, FaZe Black, OpTic Nation, Prophecy, Strictly Business, Team EnVy, Team Kaliber, Team Orbit, and Team Revenge.

European Regionals Recap

Another 14 teams advanced from Europe earlier this month, with Epsilon eSports taking the number one spot, followed by TCM Gaming and Aware.EU. They’re joined by TCM Gaming, Team Infused, Ascentia, HyperGames, Vitality X, fabE Germany, UX Gaming, fabE.Allstars, NxG.Rapid, Team Finland, Gamers2, and Klarity Gaming.

Asia-Pacific Regionals

Last month in Sydney, three teams secured their place in the Championship, led by Plantronics.Mindfreak, Exile5.T1 Dotters, and Integral Nation.

Latin America Regionals

Finally, from Latin America, it was Brazilian team SSOF Gaming that earned a ticket to Los Angeles after a close fight with rival team, Brazilla.

The Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox kicks off on Friday, March 27 with the competition raging on through Sunday, when the two top teams battle it out for the grand prize. As an added bonus, Sunday’s broadcast will also include the world gameplay premiere for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s upcoming DLC pack, Ascendance.
