In October, we introduced #GuitarHeroTVStar—a special collaboration with musical.ly to create the first user-generated music video playable in Guitar Hero Live’s GHTV. For a chance to be included, all fans had to do was use the app to lip-syncing along to Ed Sheeran’s hit song “Sing” and share it online. In response, fans around the world generated more than 100,000 videos that have already collectively been watched more than 100 million times in ten days, based on musical.ly analytics. Today, we’re excited to share the final product, which you can check out below or even pick up your guitar controller and play in Guitar Hero Live’s GHTV right now. Alongside fans, the video includes notable athletes and celebrities like basketball MVP Stephen Curry, legendary basketball player Shaquille O’Neal, sports broadcaster Erin Andrews, and Vine star King Bach.
GHTV brings together the exciting rhythm-based gameplay of Guitar Hero Live with playable music videos across multiple channels. No matter what your preferred genre, there's something to play in GHTV, thanks to a vast catalog of hundreds of songs.
