Last night, The Game Awards celebrated the best games in the industry released in 2019. 

Activision games received awards in various categories that honored multiple titles, including a win for Game of the Year for Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice.

Best Action/Adventure Game: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice 

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice takes place in Japan’s Sengoku era and follows the journey of a shinobi known as the “one-armed Wolf”. It is an epic adventure set in a dark and beautiful world where intense swordplay is needed for survival and features a complex and thoroughly rewarding combat system with challenges around every corner. 

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been praised for level design, action, visuals, combat, in-game mechanics, and more. With over 50 award nominations and wins including Gamescom, E3 2018, and Game Critics Awards, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been hailed as a gaming success before and after its launch.

Best Mobile Game: Call of Duty: Mobile

Since its launch at the beginning of October, Call of Duty: Mobile has become a fan-favorite for mobile game players, Call of Duty® franchise veterans, and newcomers.

Best Sports/Racing Game: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Congrats Bandicoots! Best Audio Design: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
