It’s a great time to be a fan of video games. Right now, fans can participate in snowy activities in both Winter Siege in Call of Duty: WWII, and The Dawning in Destiny 2. Plus, they can fire up a beautifully remastered Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and experience a classic in a brand-new way.
Thanks to your passion and dedication, we would like to celebrate with you. Call of Duty: WWII developed by Sledgehammer Games with support from Raven Software, and Bungie’s Destiny 2 have been named the #1 and #2 selling console videos games in North America, based on revenue, while the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has become the #1 remastered collection in PlayStation 4 history.*
Also, Call of Duty: WWII has surpassed $1 billion in sell-through worldwide since its launch on November 3, extending the franchise’s run as the #1 top selling console video game franchise in North America for nine consecutive years. Meanwhile, Destiny 2 has become the biggest PC launch in Activision Publishing history, based on units, since it made its debut on Blizzard’s Battle.net in October.
Plus, Crash continues to prove himself as the big bandicoot that could. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, developed by Vicarious Visions, not only tops the PS4 remaster collection charts, but the game continues to remain among the top ten selling PS4 titles in the US for the year so far, in units.*
None of this would be possible without the best fans in the world. You are the players who power these titles in the charts, and share your devotion with us on a daily basis. We thank you for your continued support, and here’s to making 2018 even more exciting!
