Call of Duty: Black Ops 3: New Taunts, Melee Weapons, Specialist Gear, and More Added to the Black Market

Plus, we’re introducing new ways to secure Supply Drops and Vials of Liquid Divinium.

Last week, Treyarch provided a closer look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Black Market* and how players can unlock new gear to show off their personality in multiplayer. Building upon the myriad of items already available, we’re excited to share that new items have arrived in the Black Market, including new melee weapons, Specialist outfits, taunts, weapon camos, cosmetic attachments, and more.

Now available, the refresh to the Black Market introduces three new melee weapons available through Supply Drops: the Butterfly Knife, Wrench, and Brass Knuckles. Each functions like the Combat Knife and can be equipped as your secondary weapon, but offer their own look and feel. The team at Treyarch has also added an array of new taunts, new sets of bodies and head variants for each Specialist, as well as Epic rarity camo, and a wealth of new Calling Cards on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Best of all, the entire range of new items can be obtained by simply playing the game and trading the Cryptokeys you earn for Supply Drops in the Black Market. However, for fans that want to secure additional Supply Drops in multiplayer or Vials of Liquid Divinium in zombies, we’re introducing Call of Duty Points—a new optional virtual currency for players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Fans can now purchase Call of Duty Points and use them to acquire Rare Supply Drops in Black Ops 3.

For zombies fans, Call of Duty Points can also be used to purchase Vials of Liquid Divinium otherwise earned by playing Shadows of Evil or The Giant Bonus Map, which can be used to create Gobblegums in Dr. Monty’s Factory and aid in the fight against the undead hordes. Items contained in Supply Drops and Gobblegums remain the same, regardless of whether they’re unlocked with Cryptokeys, Vials of Liquid Divinium, or Call of Duty Points. Additionally, Call of Duty Points can be used for other in-game content, such as the Extra Slots pack.

To kick things off, for a limited time, players that log in on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC will receive a one-time gift of 200 Call of Duty Points to use in Black Ops 3.**
