Gesture Warfare Comes to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for a Limited Time

From September 22 until September 25, you’ll have to show off if you want to defeat your enemies in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Gesture Warfare

Gestures speak louder than words, and for a limited time, they can be deadlier than bullets in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

From September 22 - 25, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will give you a unique way to defeat and humiliate your opponents through Gesture Warfare. This special playlist will highlight some of the gestures available in Infinite Warfare, as they will become your primary weapons through a fresh take on a traditional free-for-all.

Here is how the Gesture Warfare playlist will work inside of Infinite Warfare:

Gesture Warfare is similar to the traditional Gun Game mode, except that you will cycle through gestures instead of weapons in a random order. There are nine gestures featured in Gesture Warfare, such as Head Crush, Bang Bang, Flick, and six more!

In your typical Infinite Warfare multiplayer game, these gestures are flashy ways to taunt your opponent after a kill. However, these gestures are as lethal as they are cool in Gesture Warfare. For example, the Flick gesture throws a miniature black hole towards your enemies, and the Head Crush gesture pinches the head of your opponent as if it were a grape.

All of these gestures will have an on-screen reticle to aid in this new mode. You can activate these gestures by pressing either the D-Pad or the tactical grenade button on your controller.

Gestures aren’t the only way to get kills in this mode, as you will also receive a pistol, a Throwing Knife, and a regular knife for melee use. Whenever you respawn, you will start without any ammo for your pistol, but will be able to scavenge pistol ammo after you earn a gesture kill. Once you die, you’ll lose all your ammo, and have to earn another gesture kill in order to load up once again.

The first player to 20 kills, whether they are by gesture, pistol, Throwing Knife, or melee, wins the match. If you are concerned about your K/D ratio in this game mode, don’t worry, because any kills or deaths earned in this game mode will not count towards your overall stat.

Gesture Warfare will be available on Infinite Warfare across all platforms starting on September 22 and will run until September 25.

We know that this game mode will produce some of the wackiest clips in Call of Duty history, so be sure to share them with us!
