To celebrate the launch of Guitar Hero Live back in October, we held launch events featuring live performances from three incredible bands—Weezer, Grizfolk, and Rival Sons. Each set was filmed and over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been introducing them into Guitar Hero Live’s GHTV mode as fully playable live tracks. Alongside the live songs from Rival Sons already in the game, we’re excited to announce a new Premium Show featuring three live tracks from Weezer’s performance at the Guitar Hero Live launch event at YouTube Space LA and the iHeartRadio Theater.
As you might have imagined, Weezer brought the house down during each event, so we’re really stoked for you to have the chance to play along to three new tracks on the world’s first 24-hour playable music video network. The live set includes Weezer’s new single, “Thank God for Girls (Live),” as well as live versions of two of the band’s biggest hits, “Undone — The Sweater Song (Live)” and “Say It Ain’t So (Live).”
Plus, we’ve got two other new Premium Shows launching today in GHTV, just waiting for you to rock out. First, there’s The Champions, a classic rock line-up from Queen including “Fat Bottomed Girls,” “Hammer to Fall,” and “I Want To Break Free.” And if that just isn’t enough rock for you, be sure to check out the new System of a Down Premium Show, featuring “Aerials,” “B.Y.O.B.,” and “Lonely Day.”
GHTV Premium Shows are your chance to check out the latest playable music videos before they hit the regular channel rotation. Just complete the set task—three stars or better on a specific selection of songs—and you’re in!
