Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ranked Play Season Begins

Compete for exclusive in-game gear.

What’s better than a little friendly competition? Competition that awards you with exclusive in-game gear that reflects your proven skill. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s inaugural Ranked Play season began today, allowing players to face off against comparably skilled opponents and advance through seven divisions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Grand Master. When the Ranked Play season ends on January 31, players will be awarded with a unique set of gear assigned to their division, with the rank of Grand Master and its distinctive armor reserved for the top 100 players in the world.

Similar to competitive eSports matches, Ranked Play will be limited to 4 vs. 4 matches across predetermined maps and modes, each with their own distinctive rules and settings. Finally, if you missed the news yesterday, the Call of Duty Championship makes its return this year from March 27 through March 29 in Los Angeles. The top teams in the world will be competing for a $1 million prize pool, so you won’t want to miss it. Learn more about the event and how to tune-in here.
