Become a Part of Guitar Hero Live in a Crowd-Sourced Music Video, Playable in GHTV

We’re teaming up with musical.ly to give fans a chance to be in the game.

We’re less than a week away from the arrival of Guitar Hero Live on October 20, and to celebrate, we’re excited to announce that we’re teaming up with musical.ly to create a crowd-sourced music video playable in GHTV—Guitar Hero Live’s 24-hour playable music video network. Using the musical.ly app, fans can record their own clips, singing and dancing along to Ed Sheeran’s hit song “Sing.” Clips created with musical.ly and then shared over Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #GuitarHeroTVStar between now and October 25 will have a chance of being included in the final video.

For those getting up to speed, Guitar Hero Live’s GHTV mode lets players jam along to a continually updated collection of official music videos, spanning a wide range of genres, including rock, metal, pop, EDM, and more. Guitar Hero Live also features GH Live, a first-person, live-action mode where players take the stage as part of real bands and in front of real audiences that react dynamically to their performance. The game also ships with a redesigned six-button guitar controller, which makes it easier than ever for beginners and presents new challenges to advanced players—check out our in-depth look at the new controller to learn more.
