Got the Season Two Battle Pass? Congratulations; you now have access to progress and unlock 150 plus new items in 100 tiers ranging from weapon blueprints and charms to Operator skins and personalization items for your profile.

Yes, 100 plus; when you first purchase the Battle Pass, you not only unlock Ghost and the Marshland skin for Thorne, but also their Operator Missions. These Operator Missions become available alongside every Operator skin unlock in the Battle Pass. The Operator Missions give you the opportunity to unlock two more skin variants and two additional items just by completing challenges. Plus, these challenges also reward XP, which can help you progress through the Enlisted Ranks.

As a reminder, Operator Missions can only be completed when the Mission is activated and the Operator for that mission is your chosen Operator for their faction. You can still earn mission progress while playing for the other team – e.g., as long as your Coalition Operator is Ghost, you can load into games as Minotaur on the Allegiance and complete Ghost’s Mission – but if you don’t have them as a selected Operator, it won’t count.

Here are the Operator Mission sets up to Tier 40 in the Battle Pass – Ghost, Thorne, Otter, Raines, Wyatt, and D-Day – and the tips we have for completing them quickly:

Operator Mission – Ghost

Unlocked at Tier 0 (Upon Battle Pass Purchase)

1. Use the Dead Silence Field Upgrade 5 times with Ghost as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 750 XP / Silent Death Calling Card

Try using Tune Up to speed up earning the Dead Silence Field Upgrade in-game.

2. Get 15 Kills while using the Ghost perk with Ghost as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,000 XP / Mandible Operator Skin

A fitting objective for Ghost, huh? This perk works great with Dead Silence; sneak up against enemies even if they have a UAV activated and finish the job with a silenced weapon.

3. Get 3 Throwing Knife Kills with Ghost as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,250 XP / Operator Quip

If you have trouble landing a Throwing Knife from a distance, take a stealthy approach and throw it when you are close to your target.

4. Get 3 Melee Kills with Ghost as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 2,000 XP / Last Breath Operator Skin

Equipping a Combat Knife – or having a Throwing Knife equipment piece – gives you fast one-hit melee kills.

Operator Mission – Thorne

Unlocked at Tier 0 / (Upon Battle Pass Purchase)

1. Get 15 Kills using Shotguns with Thorne as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 750 XP / Trishot - Thorne Calling Card

Small maps are your friend when using shotguns, which excel at short range.

2. Play 2 Team Deathmatch Games with Thorne as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,000 XP / Grey Wolf Operator Skin

Try teaming up with the squad for some company while you complete this quick and easy objective.

3. Call in 5 Killstreaks with Thorne as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,250 XP / Operator Quip

The simplest approach is to use Hardline and either the Personal Radar or Shield Turret, which can be earned by only getting two kills in one life with this method.

4. Run over 3 enemies using vehicles with Thorne as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 2,000 XP / Night Raid Operator Skin

The best in the business already know how this can be done: get into Ground War, hop in an ATV or Tactical Rover, and get up to ramming speed before turning an enemy into roadkill.

Operator Mission – Otter

Unlocked at Tier 10

1. Mark 15 Enemies using the Recon Drone with Otter as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 750 XP / Trishot – Otter Calling Card

Like the Thorne Mission’s last objective, this could be done easier in Ground War where there are more enemies to tag.

2. Get 15 Kills using Submachine Guns with Otter as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,000 XP / Desert Operator Skin

You may want to wait to unlock the Striker-45 to complete this objective; that way, you can try out the new weapon while also getting a sweet XP boost!

3. Get 3 Kills using Lethal Equipment with Otter as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,250 XP / Operator Quip

Did you know that double tapping the reload button will explode your C4, even while it’s in mid-air? Try that out while doing this objective, and you may just have a blast while completing it.

4. Get 5 Headshot Kills with Otter as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 2,000 XP / Night Raid Operator Skin

Sniper rifles and marksman rifles are one-shot kills if you land a headshot, so if you need a weapon to get this last objective done swiftly, look to those two weapon categories.

Operator Mission – Raines

Unlocked at Tier 19

1. Get 15 Kills while using Battle Hardened perk with Raines as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 750 XP / Trishot – Raines Calling Card

Equip the Battle Hardened perk, then choose your weapon of choice. You are likely to get the kills fast by playing on a small map, like Season Two’s Rust. 

2. Execute 2 Finishing Moves with Raines as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,000 XP / Dark Pacifier Operator Skin

This skin name pairs well with how completing this challenge can be made easier. Strike from out of the dark, as you could sneak up on an enemy in a dimly-lit area – preferably using the Dead Silence Field Upgrade – and get behind them for the finish.

3. Get 15 Kills using Assault Rifles with Raines as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,250 XP / Operator Quip

The Grau 5.56 is the new assault rifle in town, and this Operator Mission is unlocked only a few Tiers before it. Break it out for this objective, and you’ll get a nice XP bonus and a quip to go along with that test drive.

4. Get 3 Kills using the Stopping Power Field Upgrade with Raines as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 2,000 XP / Evergreen Operator Skin

The one-shot kill areas and ranges for sniper rifles and marksman rifles get wider when using Stopping Power Rounds, so that makes them a tempting choice. Ultimately pair the Field Upgrade and a weapon of your choice for quick and powerful kills.

Operator Mission – Wyatt

Unlocked at Tier 30

1. Use the Tactical Insertion Field Upgrade 5 times with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 750 XP / Trishot – Wyatt Calling Card

Much like the Dead Silence objective for Ghost, Tune Up is your friend. Also, consider trying this in Ground War and placing the insert back in your team’s base to practically ensure it won’t be broken.

2. Get 5 kills while Aiming Down Sights with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,000 XP / Desperado Operator Skin

As our good friend Sergeant Foley said back in Modern Warfare 2: “You've got to pick your targets by aiming deliberately down your sights from a stable stance… Crouch first, then aim down your sight at the targets.”

3. Get 5 Kills in an Infantry Assault Vehicle with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,250 XP / Operator Quip

At first, this seems difficult, as the IAV is a Killstreak reward. However, these also appear in Ground War as standard vehicles. Spot one in Ground War, hop in, and target foot soldiers rather than vehicles with this vehicle’s cannon.

4. Get 2 Double Kills with Wyatt as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 2,000 XP / Commander Operator Skin

Choosing a weapon with a higher capacity magazine, such as an LMG, or one with a magazine extending attachment is a good idea for this last objective, as you won’t have to spend time reloading if you come up against two enemies grouped together.

Operator Mission – D-Day

Unlocked at Tier 40

1. Get 5 Kills in the APC with D-Day as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 750 XP / Trishot – D-Day Calling Card

In Ground War, you can choose to spawn into an APC. Make sure you do this when nobody else is in the vehicle, or else you won’t be the driver and, ergo, the one getting the kills.

2. Get 3 Kills without Dying 2 times with D-Day as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,000 XP / Deep Pockets Operator Skin

The Personal Radar and UAV are two Killstreaks that are easier than most others to get and offer great reconnaissance, which helps in finding and denying enemies who want to ruin your chance at a three kill streak.

3. Get 10 Kills using Pistols with D-Day as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 1,250 XP / Operator Quip

If you haven’t already, dip your toes into Hardcore modes – where there is a lower health pool and limited HUD – which makes pistols, and all weapons in general, pack more punch per shot.

4. Get 3 Kills on Enemies near smoke with D-Day as your Coalition Operator

Reward: 2,000 XP / Nightshift Operator Skin

Pair your Smoke Grenades with a weapon that has a Thermal Sight. That way, you can throw one of these grenades towards an enemy and pick them off while they navigate through or around the Smoke.
