More Skylanders action is heading your way! Not only will SkylandersTM Academy be back for Season 2 on Netflix, with a third season underway, but we are proud to announce that we are partnering with game developer Com2us to create a brand-new role-playing game for mobile devices based on the award-winning Skylanders franchise. Com2us has committed to deliver exceptional global online services for the upcoming mobile iteration of Skylanders.

Com2us is the developer behind Summoners War, the popular and critically acclaimed mobile RPG, and we are excited to see the magic they can summon with Skylanders.

Said Josh Taub, senior vice president of Skylanders Product Management at Activision Publishing, “There are many mobile game companies, but very few have found success globally. We are excited to be working with Com2us, as they have proven expertise in the mobile role-playing game genre."

With more than 300 million toys sold through worldwide, Skylanders fans are deeply engaged across the franchise and a role-playing title lets them experience Skylanders an in entirely new way. We’ll have more information to share as the game continues to be developed, so stay tuned!

It's not fair. Spyro hasn't had it's own game in almost a decade because of Skylanders, meanwhile Crash Bandicoot gets a remastered trilogy collection. Why can't they just do the same for Spyro and retire Skylanders? Skylanders is dead! Face it. The last few games were awful, the show is *****, and Lego Dimensions completely overlapped Skylanders in sales and ratings. Next year is Spyro's 20th anniversary. Please just cancel Skylanders and revive the classic Spyro to replace Skylanders permanently!
