We unwrap the ultra rare collector's edition of Destiny, which includes a wide array of digital content, collectibles, and even a fully functioning Ghost.

After months of anticipation, Destiny will make its worldwide debut this week across current-gen and last-gen platforms and players have a variety of versions and delivery methods to choose from. However, the rarest of them all is the Ghost Edition, which offers a variety of collectible items, downloadable content, special packaging, and, of course, a functioning Ghost.

The first thing you'll see when you unwrap the Destiny Ghost Edition and lift up the lid is your Ghost replica. Now, it's not your run of the mill Ghost — it's actually skinned with the red, silver, and gold finish that matches the in-game Ghost skin, made available exclusively to Limited Edition, Digital Guardian Edition, and Ghost Edition owners. When activated in one of two modes — lighting only or lighting and sound — the Ghost replica will actually react to motion. Featuring the voice of none other than Peter Dinklage, the Ghost replica will speak lines from the game and note the prevalence of pre-Golden Age artifacts. Best of all, it's rechargeable, so you won't have to worry about replacing the batteries constantly.

Beneath the Ghost, you'll find a steel book-encased copy of Destiny for the platform of your choice as well as a variety of collectible materials, including the Guardian Folio, which houses the Arms and Armament field guide, postcards and relics from the Golden Age, and a "vintage" map of Destiny's worlds. As for the in-game content, the Ghost Edition is accompanied by vouchers for the Destiny Expansion pass, which includes The Dark Below and House of Wolves, as well as a special ship variant and player emblem.
