Maybe you’re good enough to conquer the Scorn, Fallen, Hive, Red Legion, and Vex. Maybe you have what it takes to claim victory and laugh at your enemies in the Crucible. Can you do both at the same time, Guardian?

All Destiny 2 players, on all platforms, from 10am PDT on Friday, Sept. 21 until 10am PDT on Sunday, Sept. 23, can enjoy the exciting, fast-paced challenge of Destiny 2: Forsaken’s new game mode, Gambit, even if they haven’t yet purchased the Forsaken expansion.

Gambit is Destiny 2: Forsaken’s new hybrid PvE/PvP game mode. Two teams of four players compete to kill enemies, gather the motes of light the enemies drop, and deposit the motes into a bank. Depositing 75 motes summons a Taken primeval and the first team to kill their primeval wins the match. Each team, however, can invade the other team’s arena, kill other Guardians, and delay the other team’s progress in summoning and defeating their primeval.

You can check out our Gambit Strategy Guide to get ready for this upcoming weekend’s Gambit free trial. Unlike the last Gambit free trial, however, this weekend from Sept. 21 to Sept. 23 will include Scorn, Fallen, Hive, Red Legion, and Vex as potential enemies and will include access to every Gambit map included in Forsaken.

Please note that unless you own Destiny 2: Forsaken, during this free trial weekend you will not be able to earn items included in the Forsaken expansion as rewards for Gambit matches. Instead you will earn regular Crucible rewards.

Get ready to defeat the servants of the Darkness, best your fellow Guardians in combat, and show the world that you have the skills to master Gambit. The Gambit free trial weekend begins on Friday and ends on Sunday. Prove yourself.
