The next great adventure in Destiny begins today—Destiny: The Taken King is now available around the globe. The Taken King introduces an all-new story that spans new story missions, quests, Strikes, and when it releases on September 18, the new King’s Fall Raid. There’s also a wealth of new weapons and gear to earn and collect, a new destination to explore, and for competitive multiplayer fans, a variety of new maps and modes for the Crucible. And for those just jumping into the Destiny experience, every edition of The Taken King comes with a free character boost, which instantly raises one new or existing Guardian to the minimum level required to play The Taken King.

There are a number of versions of The Taken King to choose from, whether you want a physical copy or prefer to go digital. Fans can pick up the Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, which includes Destiny, both expansions, and The Taken King in-store or through your platform of choice’s digital storefront.

The Collector’s Edition includes a copy of the game, including Destiny, both expansions, and The Taken King, as well as limited edition Steelbook case, a modified Treasure Island book that houses Cayde-6’s personal notes and a replica Strange Coin, and more. Also included are three class-specific emotes, three armor shaders, and three exotic class items with XP bonuses. There’s also a Digital Collector’s Edition, which includes Destiny, both expansions, The Taken King, and the emotes, armor shaders, and exotic class items found in the physical Collector’s Edition.

We’ve also teamed up with PlayStation for the Limited Edition Destiny: The Taken King PlayStation 4 Bundle, which includes a custom Destiny-inspired PS4, Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition, and a Digital Collector’s Edition upgrade. Check out for more info.

I bought destiny the taken king collectors edition and whenot I opened the box it was missing the collectors edition steel book game. I have heard other people with the same problem I don't know how this happened bUT this needs to be fixed asap become I did NOT get what I paid for. Activision or Bungie need to resolve this issue.

Level 1

A) How does one contact Activision support?  This website is a maze of no information and circles. It is horribly made and a complete waste of time.

B) When the original Destiny came out, we could purchase the game on 360 and get it on the XB1 without having to repurchase it.  Why is it different for The Taken King?  Seems like Activision will be losing out on some customers in the future, as my loyalty to this company is already pretty low.  I shouldn't have to pay for the digital game twice to play it on both consoles.
